■ A Texas woman was shocked to discover she faced federal felony charges for not returning a VHS tape of Sabrina the Teenage Witch more than 20 years ago. Caron McBride said she had no idea that she was wanted for embezzlement until she tried to update her name on her driver’s license and a clerk told her to call the district attorney’s office. Meanwhile, he enjoys seeing the world through the eyes of a bear mask. “It fuels my creativity,” he said.

Her kids went scrambling, yelling “Earthquake!” Police tracked the explosion—which was heard more than 20 miles away in Massachusetts—to its source, and the father-to-be surrendered.
