The young, queer, mixed-race MexicanAmerican journalist offered healing and humor to readers who found the column on the Grindr dating app, and he often answered questions by sharing personal anecdotes. His new memoir mimics that Q&A format, and it works. The book’s bite-size essays are “just as poignant, hilarious, and addictively readable as his column.”
