Knockout City

-

“The joy of Knockout City is quite simple: Pick up a ball and throw it at your opponents,” said Ari Notis in Kotaku.com. The popular multiplayer dodgeball game has quickly amassed more than 5 million players, and not just because it resembles colorful, cartoonish hits such as Fortnite. The “surprisingly fun” gameplay nails the frenetic energy of the classic schoolyard sport. “It’s as easy to learn as it is hard to master,” because timing is everything. Adding to the chaos (and the hilarity) are special dodgeballs that explode, reduce the force of gravity, or trap opponents in a metal cage. “Getting taken out is maddening. Could you have dodged a second earlier? Or maybe timed that catch a little bit better?”
