Mysteries of Mental Illness

The human brain, in all its complexity, struggles to fully understand mental illness. This fourhour series, airing across two consecutiv­e nights, reminds viewers how common mental illness is as it profiles various individual­s wrestling with disorders and traces the history of society’s response to abnormal patterns of thought and behavior. False Positive

In a new horror movie that she produced and co-wrote, Broad City’s Ilana Glazer portrays a woman who comes to suspect the worst of the charismati­c fertility doctor who helped her finally conceive. The bankable 69-year-old action star’s latest thriller casts him as a hard-nosed trucker who answers the call when 26 diamond miners are trapped north of Lake Winnipeg and the rescue requires a dangerous run by three 18-wheelers across the failing ice. The Mysterious Benedict Society

Four gifted orphans are recruited to undertake a dangerous mission in this wry adaptation of a beloved book series by Trenton Lee Stewart. Tony Hale of Veep is often the adult in the room, setting the tone with a delightful dual performanc­e as both Mr. Benedict, who recruits the children, and as Mr. Benedict’s evil twin, who aspires to mass mind control. Bosch

Harry Bosch isn’t done seeking justice yet. The seventh and final season of the acclaimed series built around the hard-boiled L.A. homicide detective throws him a fatal arson case that even the feds don’t want to see solved. Bosch won’t let up, though, even as the chase puts his life in danger and compels him to risk his career and reputation. Either way, this won’t be the end for Bosch. Star Titus Welliver and co-stars Mimi Rogers and Madison Lintz have signed on for a spinoff series that will follow Bosch into a new career phase. Available Friday, June 25, Amazon Prime
