■ A U.S. gunmaker created a kit to encase a Glock semiautomatic handgun in children’s Lego blocks, to show “shooting sports are SUPER FUN!” Brandon Scott, president of Utah-based Culper Precision, said the $765 custom kit would counteract negative “rhetoric from anti-gun folks.” But when Lego threatened to sue, Scott withdrew the kit.
■ A 2-year-old girl has been expelled from a private daycare center in Vermont after staff complained she was dressed provocatively. Briana Adams says PJ’s Childcare told her that daughter Kenzie’s “spaghetti”-style shoulder straps were inappropriate.
In a Facebook post, Adams complained the center had engaged in the “sexualization of my child.” Kenzie was “disenrolled” the next day, with management citing “a lack of parental cooperation.”
