Nicolas Cage’s new movie is, for a change, “a reminder of what the actor is capable of,” said Michael O’Sullivan in The Washington Post. A small yet “strangely moving” drama from first-time director Michael Sarnoski, Pig casts Cage as a hermit who finally emerges from the woods of the Pacific Northwest when his truffle-hunting pet sow is stolen.
