■ Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez tied the knot last week in a seemingly impromptu ceremony at A Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. Lopez, 52, said she wore “a dress from an old movie”—perhaps 2004’s Jersey Girl, which also featured Ben as her husband. Affleck, 49, wore a jacket from his closet. “We flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world,” Lopez said. Engaged in April, the couple known to tabloids as Bennifer had broken off a prior engagement in 2004, citing overbearing press attention. Some but not all of their children reportedly attended the ceremony as witnesses. Lopez has 14-year-old twins with ex-husband Marc Anthony, and Affleck has three kids, ages 10 to 16, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. “Twenty years patient,” Lopez wrote to fans, signing her newsletter “Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck.”

■ Latin pop star Ricky Martin adamantly denied allegations last week that he committed incest with his nephew. A Puerto Rican court issued a protection order on behalf of the 21-year-old son of Martin’s sister, who alleges that he had a seven-month romantic relationship with his uncle, “who did not take it well” when the nephew tried to end the relationship. A lawyer for Martin, 50, said the allegations are “untrue” and “disgusting,” alleging that the accuser “is struggling with deep mental health challenges.”

If found guilty of incest and abuse, Martin, who is married to Syrian-born artist JwanYosef, could face 50 years in prison.

■ NewYork Jets quarterback Zach Wilson’s love life sparked a social media storm last week after his ex-girlfriend accused him of “sleeping with his mom’s best friend.” Wilson, 22, and his high school sweetheart, Abbey Gile, broke up earlier this year, and Gile is dating Wilson’s former BrighamYoung University teammate Dax Milne, now a wide receiver on the Washington Commanders football team. Gile made the salacious accusation about Wilson after fans criticized her on social media as “a homie hopper” for dating her ex’s college roommate. Wilson, whose family is Mormon, made fun of Gile’s accusation with a cheeky Instagram post, writing, “Poor cell service...what I miss?”
