■ The top 10 companies on this year’s Fortune 500 list accounted for roughly 20 percent of the list’s total revenues. With $611.3 billion in revenue in its most recent fiscal year, Walmart topped the Fortune 500 for the 11th year in a row.

■ Three companies—DuPont, Chemours, and Corteva— agreed to pay more than $1 billion to settle claims that “forever chemicals” contaminat­ed U.S. water systems. The three chemical giants are facing thousands of lawsuits from across the country over pollution from the toxic chemicals, known as PFAS.
