■ Brad Pitt last week regained control of the $500 million vineyard he coowned with ex-wife Angelina Jolie, in the latest round of the so-called War of the Rosés. The pair bought Château Miraval—which produces an award-winning rosé—in 2012, with Pitt owning 60 percent and Jolie 40 percent. Pitt “gifted” Jolie another 10 percent when they married in 2014, making the Hollywood stars equal partners. But after their bitter split two years later, Pitt claimed in court that Jolie intentionally “sought to inflict harm on” him by selling her stake to Russian vodka magnate Yuri Shefler, a “stranger with poisonous associations and intentions.” Pitt argued that he gifted the shares to Jolie on the understanding that he had the right of first refusal. Now a court in Luxembourg—where Miraval’s holding company is based—has ruled that the 10 percent should go back to Pitt until there is a final ruling, which is not expected for at least a year.

■ Country star Darius Rucker was arrested in Tennessee last week for possession of marijuana and psychedelic pills. The charges stem from a police stop last year, when officers pulled over his pickup for expired registration tags. Police said the Hootie & the Blowfish singer’s vehicle reeked of marijuana, which he told them he might have smoked the previous day. Officers searched the truck and allegedly found a THC pen, a blunt, and 14 unmarked purple pills later identified as Psilocin—similar to the hallucinogenic compound in magic mushrooms—which he said his girlfriend had given to him. Rucker was released after posting a $10,500 bond.

■ Steve Garvey, the former Los Angeles Dodgers star who is now the GOP front-runner in the race for a California U.S. Senate seat, is not the “devoted family man” he claims to be, the Los Angeles Times reported last week. Two of his adult children, who were born out of wedlock, told the paper that Garvey rebuffed their repeated attempts to communicate and only met them in family court. His oldest child from his first marriage, Krisha Garvey, 49, said Garvey stopped talking to her 15 years ago and has not tried to build a relationship with her three kids. Garvey did not respond to the Times’ questions about his children, but said in statement that his 35-year marriage to his current wife, Candace, “demonstrates my growth and commitment to family values.”
