Just be logical
My undergraduate major was philosophy, which I have often felt perhaps helped sharpen my mental acumen a bit, while also saying it likely needed all such help it could receive. Especially in the area of logic, I think it may have helped.
I find myself thinking logically about a current development in the national scene: If a person is confronted with the possibility of an investigation, it is purely logical that an innocent person would welcome such. It would remove any and all doubts and permit that person to remain in good standing in society, holding his head high, with never a lingering cloud. In short, it would be exonerating.
It is equally logical that a guilty person would resist such an investigation with every means and energy at his disposal. It would be totally illogical to do otherwise. In short, it could be incriminating.
I don’t think it takes a degree in philosophy to figure out why our president is stonewalling a full, impartial investigation into possible pre-election communications with Russia and decrying “the bad media” for leaks concerning the issue. He, who in the Wikileaks about Hillary, thought the press had done an incredibly fantastic job!
So, apart from political orientation, just be logical here. At least this once: Logic?
