Monday, Feb. 27
12:42 a.m. Cesar Vega, 36, was arrested and charged with felony possession with intent to deliver, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, felony possession of a controlled substance, driving with a fictitious license plate, driving on a suspended license and driving with no insurance after a traffic stop near the intersection of U.S. Highway 71 and Mercy Way.
10:48 a.m. A caller reported three people in the Lake Brittany dam area who were “Acting strangely.” Police arrived to find they were fishing.
4:08 p.m. A Murphy Drive resident reported someone may have tried to break into their home.
Tuesday, Feb. 28
9:44 a.m. Someone pumped gas and drove off from the Casey’s General Store on Riordan Road.
6:26 p.m. A man was reportedly walking along Hilltop Drive in a thong, near the Metfield Pool.
8:55 p.m. George Baisden, 33, was arrested on a Springdale warrant.
9:45 p.m. A red car was reportedly sitting occupied in the Bella Vista Library parking lot for about an hour. Police discovered the occupant was using the WiFi while waiting to return a book.
Wednesday, March 1
5:42 p.m. A green Ford pickup truck with Missouri plates was reportedly driving erratically near the intersection of U.S. Highway 71 and Mercy Way. The driver reportedly pointed a gun at someone.
Thursday, March 2
7:33 a.m. Police received a report that several vehicles drive very quickly every morning near the intersection of Commonwealth Road and McNelly Road.
8:36 A Jaguar reportedly passed a stopped school bus near the intersection of Arkansas Highway 340 and Ryde Lane.
6:55 p.m. Someone walked in to report that they were selling a vehicle and the person who test drove it never came back.
Friday, March 3
10:57 a.m. Police responded to a disturbance call on Dogwood Drive after someone reported hearing a child saying “Don’t do it.” Police found a mother and child scolding a new puppy that was nipping.
3:21 p.m. Someone stomped a dog on Leona Drive.
8:30 p.m. Some young drivers were reportedly drag racing across the Lake Rayburn dam.
10:16 p.m. Alejendre Ruiz, 22, was arrested on Springdale and Rogers warrants and charged with driving on a suspended license during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 71.
Saturday, March 4
2:18 a.m. Mark Helton, 43, was arrested on a felony failure to appear warrant after police responded to a call at Highlands Healthcare for a truck driving into the parking lot with someone standing up in the bed.
12:28 p.m Someone driving a Jeep was reportedly out playing around in the gravel pit off Grosvenor Road.
1:39 p.m. Someone in a gray Chevrolet pickup truck was reportedly offering beer to construction workers on Interstate 49. The driver appeared to be intoxicated.
2:01 p.m. Someone ran over a mailbox at Burnham Drive.
7:52 p.m. A dog bite was reported on Kinloch Drive.
9:04 p.m. Items were reportedly stolen from a home on Ipswich Drive.
9:45 p.m. Police chased a white pickup truck on Wellington. The truck ended up in a ravine and the driver escaped on foot.
10:27 p.m. Derrick Holliam, 32, was arrested on a Bentonville warrant for contempt of court with original charges of driving on a suspended license, disobeying a traffic control device and driving without proof of insurance. Police spotted him limping near Town Center.
Sunday, March 5
7:07 a.m. Tiffany Sullivan, 24, was arrested and charged with careless and prohibited driving and driving while intoxicated after she was involved in an accident near the Scotsdale Golf Course.
10:41 a.m. Golf clubs were reportedly stolen from a vehicle on Galashiels Lane.
1:04 p.m. Stephen Barnes, 39, turned himself in on a warrant for contempt of court related to fines and costs, with original charges of driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a chemical test, careless driving, disobeying a traffic control device and two counts of failure to appear.
2:42 p.m. A safe was found on the side of Becket Road.
5:14 p.m. A child was admitted to the emergency room with a dog bite.
6:28 p.m. Squatters were reported in a home on Quantock Hills Lane.
7:44 p.m. James Yancey, 24, was arrested on out of town warrants during a traffic stop near the intersection of Riordan Road and Eugene Lane.
10:40 p.m. Tasha Jessen, 29, turned herself in on a warrant for contempt of court related to fines and costs, with original charge of driving on a suspended license.
10:51 p.m. A Crathorne Lane resident reported getting text messages from a man asking if he could steal something out of her garage.
11:26 p.m. A brown cow was spotted wandering near the intersection of Glasgow Road and Perth Drive. Police were able to get the bovine into a fenced area.
