Vil­lage Bi­ble Church

Wed­nes­day, July 26, the Oa­sis Food Pantry will be open from 10 a.m. to noon. This min­istry is avail­able to any­one in the area who needs help with gro­ceries and would ap­pre­ci­ate the com­pas­sion and en­cour­age­ment of our friendly vol­un­teers. A potluck fel­low­ship din­ner will be­gin at 5:30 p.m. and the com­mu­nity is al­ways wel­come. At 6:30 p.m. there will be singing, de­vo­tions and prayer in the Wor­ship Cen­ter. Sun­day, July 30, Sun­day School classes are of­fered for all ages at 9 a.m. fol­lowed by the 10:15 a.m. wor­ship ser­vice. An­drew Goff, Vil­lage Bi­ble Church di­rec­tor of Wor­ship and Dis­ci­ple­ship, will bring the mes­sage for the wor­ship ser­vice. Uni­tar­ian Univer­sal­ists

In Au­gust, UUBC ser­vices at Lit­tle Ein­stein Montessori School will be held only on Aug. 13.

Sun­day School is avail­able for chil­dren with a Uni­tar­ian Univer­sal­ist adap­ta­tion of Jerome Ber­ry­man’s book, “Spirit Play” as the pri­mary re­source. We struc­ture the morn­ing based on the Montessori ap­proach. As in Montessori, the key el­e­ments are the class­room en­vi­ron­ment and the teach­ers. These el­e­ments free the chil­dren to work at their own pace on their own ac­tiv­i­ties af­ter an ini­tial les­son.
