▲ “Bella Vista,” the musical, will be presented at 6 p.m. Friday, April 6, and 2 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at Riordan Hall in Bella Vista. An entertaini­ng musical with a humorous parody of Bella Vista, the city, is presented by The Sophistica­ted Ladies Tap Dancers. Admission is $7, and tickets may be purchased in advance at Riordan Hall or at the door prior to each show only by cash or check made payable to Sophistica­ted Ladies. Proceeds support the ladies' expenses, with a percentage donated to a local charity. The Sophistica­ted Ladies of Bella Vista are a volunteer dance group performing locally and regionally under the direction of Carol Roller. April 9

▲ CBCO will hold a blood drive in Bella Vista from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the American Legion Post 341, located at 1889 Bella Way. Each donation will be awarded LifePoints as a part of CBCO's donor rewards program. LifePoints may be redeemed online for a variety of gift cards, or points may be assigned to other meaningful causes or charities. To be eligible to give blood, one must weigh at least 110 pounds, be in good health and present a valid photo ID.

April 15

▲ Bella Vista Farmers Market opens for the season from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, April 15. The market will be in a new location this year at 10 Sugar Creek Center in Bella Vista, in the parking lot just north of U.S. 71 and Mercy Way. The Bella Vista Farmers Market is one of few markets in the Northwest Arkansas area that operates on Sunday. The outdoor market promotes health and wellness to the community while supporting local farmers, crafters and small businesses.

▲ Anderson High School Alumni is hosting a reunion Saturday, May 19, at the River Ranch Resort located at 101 River Road in Noel, Mo. Registrati­on forms were mailed inside the newsletter. Times for the reunion are noon to 5 p.m., Meet and Greet; 5 to 6 p.m., business meeting; 6 to 7 p.m., dinner; 7 to 9 p.m., dance with Max Brown. ▲ The Fly Tyers are asking for donations of used or new sporting goods (all types, not just fishing) for a sporting sale. The Fly Tyers will pick up donations, or they may be delivered to Tom Diepenbroc­k by calling 636-443-3325. The sale will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 19, at Riordan Hall in Bella Vista. Monies raised from the sale will be used for improvemen­ts to the lakes within Bella Vista. Donations are requested before Thursday, April 12.

April 21

▲ The Garden Club of Rogers will hold its 43rd annual plant sale from 8 a.m. to noon on April 21 at First Presbyteri­an Church in Rogers, located at 1901 S. 26th St. The event will be held rain or shine. Hundreds of plants of all sizes and varieties are for sale. Many Master Gardeners have dug these from their own gardens and will be on hand to help with questions. Proceeds from this sale are used to help fund civic beautifica­tion projects, youth educations, scholarshi­ps and horticultu­ral education. For more informatio­n, call 479-903-5389.
