2:49 p.m. Police received a report of a plastic bag on U.S. Highway 71.

1:04 p.m. A three-legged black and white dog was spotted near the intersecti­on of Melinda Lane and Metfield Drive.

Saturday, Dec. 29

2:21 p.m. Police arrested Stoney Ray, 42, in connection with driving on a suspended license and driving with a fictitious vehicle license as well as Jennifer Ray, 40, on a Benton County warrant during a traffic stop on Evesham Drive.

2:57 p.m. A schoolbus was reportedly driving recklessly on U.S. Highway 71. Police found the vehicle and did not observe any violations.

Sunday, Dec. 30

6:09 p.m. Someone in a white Nissan reportedly hit a mailbox on Croston Lane and kept driving.

Monday, Dec. 31

11:17 a.m. Firefighte­rs responded to smoke reported on Mellor Lane. On site, they discovered the smoke was coming from a dryer vent.

9:07 p.m. Police received a report of loud music on Gore Lane.

Tuesday, Jan. 1

12:02 a.m. Police received a report of possible gunshots heard on Sullivan Drive. Officers confirmed the sound was caused by fireworks.

9:39 a.m. A cow was spotted in the road near the intersecti­on of Chelsea Road and Belgravia Drive.

3:00 p.m. Firefighte­rs handled a car fire on Pisgah Loop.

Wednesday, Jan. 2

5:19 p.m. A burglary was reported on Pennine Lane.

6:31 p.m. Police received a report of a dog attacking another dog on Cannock Lane.

Thursday, Jan. 3

5:11 a.m. Two individual­s in camo and wearing ski masks were spotted on Lord Nelson Drive. Upon seeing a resident, they reportedly shouted an expletive and took off.

7:49 a.m. Police arrested Dallas Smith, 37, on a warrant for obstructin­g government­al operations at the Bella Vista Police Department.

4:23 p.m. Police arrested Michael Macomber, 28, in connection with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug parapherna­lia, driving on a suspended license and speeding during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of Arkansas Highway 34 and Leicester Drive.

Friday, Jan. 4

9:00 a.m. About 15 cattle were spotted on Chelsea Road.

1:47 p.m. Police arrested Tera Blowers, 41, on a Benton County warrant and Robert Langston, 45, in connection with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug parapherna­lia, obstructin­g government­al operations and felony furnishing prohibited articles during a traffic stop on Milford Lane.

11:31 p.m. A Shelly Lane resident reported someone stealing packages from their porch. Police placed extra patrols on the area.

Saturday, Jan. 5

1:12 a.m. Police arrested Billy Monk, 27, in connection with driving while intoxicate­d, refusal to submit and driving with an expired vehicle license during a traffic stop at the All in One gas station.

1:00 p.m. Police arrested Dwayne Baugher, 46, in connection with driving on a suspended license and obstructin­g government­al operations during a traffic stop on Dartmoor Road.

1:06 p.m. Police arrested Emily Velasco, 18, in connection with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug parapherna­lia during a traffic stop on Arkansas Highway 340.

2:39 p.m. Police received a report of someone trying to break into vehicles on Everette Lane. Officers placed additional patrols in the area.

Sunday, Jan. 6

10:35 a.m. Firefighte­rs put out a grass fire on Ruthwell Drive.

11:18 a.m. Someone in a silver Honda was reportedly dumping their trash near Chelsea Road.
