9:34 p.m. Police arrested Natasha Swift, 38, in connection with domestic battery in the third degree after responding to a disturbanc­e call on Nantucket Drive.

Tuesday, Aug. 20

1:25 a.m. Police arrested Robert Drown, 31, on an out-of-town warrant after investigat­ing suspicious activity.

8:43 a.m. A laptop and cash were reportedly stolen out of an unlocked vehicle on Wentworth Drive.

12:02 p.m. Police arrested Julie Neighbors, 45, on an out-of-town warrant during a traffic stop near the intersecti­on of Arkansas Highway 279 and Arkansas Highway 340.

Wednesday, Aug. 21

10:07 a.m. Police received a complaint about a barking dog on Marshaw Lane.

11:37 a.m. An envelope with a threatenin­g message was reportedly left at the First United Methodist Church on Boyce Drive. Police placed extra patrols in the area.

Thursday, Aug. 22

vehicle accident reportedly caused by someone driving on the wrong side of Blowing Springs Road to bypass the school line.

4:54 p.m. Kimberly Turner, 43, turned herself in on a warrant for failure to appear related to a nuisance dog ordinance citation.

Friday, Aug. 23

6:59 p.m. Police arrested Benedict Garcia, 24, in connection with domestic assault in the second degree after responding to a disturbanc­e call on Crawford Lane.

Saturday, Aug. 24

a call about a copperhead under a Nequay Lane resident’s stairs. Officers witnessed the snake leave and head into a lake.

8:15 p.m. A Bosworth Circle resident reported moving in and finding an extension cord running from their home into a neighbor’s house. Police cited the neighbor for criminal trespassin­g and theft of service.

Sunday, Aug. 25

9:31 p.m. Police arrested Nathan Yates, 24, in connection with possession of a controlled substance and speeding during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 71.
