Dorothy Elizabeth Klitzke
Dorothy Elizabeth Klitzke, 79, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Monday, May 2, 2022, with family by her side.
She was born April 20, 1943, in Souris, N.D., to Bennie and Marion (Fairweather) Haugen. She received a degree in home economics from Concordia College and excelled at numerous sales jobs for 40+ years including lighting, furniture and cars. She was a member of United Lutheran Church in Bella Vista and enjoyed quilting, cooking, playing cards and being a grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Priscilla Wattenford, Russell Haugen, Susan Sletto, Blaine Haugen.
Surviving are her husband, Harvey Klitzke; sister, Cynthia Resner; daughters, Tammy (Dale) Jacobson, Sonja (Jake Glower) Kaye; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service officiated by Pastor Karen Fowler-Lindemudler was held on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at United Lutheran Church.
