Group talks Battle of Pea Ridge
Park Ranger Kerry Jones, of the Pea Ridge National Military Park, answers questions from the audience of nearly 60 people after his program at the monthly meeting of the Bella Vista Civil War Roundtable held Thursday, May 7, at the Bella Vista Historical Museum. Jones selected eight soldiers who fought in the Battle of Pea Ridge and told the story of each one’s life before, during and after the Civil War. The next meeting will be held at the museum on Thursday, June 2, at 7 p.m. The speaker will be Jim Spillars on “The Battle of Cane Hill.”
