Full agenda for PC work session in February
The Bella Vista Planning Commission is back to a full contingent and just in time for its February work session.
The Planning Commission had one open position, vacated by Craig Honchell after he was elected to the Bella Vista City Council in December, and that seat was filled with the appointment of Linda Lloyd by Mayor John D. Flynn in a resolution presented to the Council during its Jan. 23 regular session. The Council approved the nomination by a unanimous vote.
Thursday’s Planning Commission work session, scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at the District Court Building, features a full agenda with three items to be discussed in unfinished business and five in new business.
The unfinished business items include: • A zoning variance request on the minimum C-4 Shopping Center District front building setback for Large Scale Development 46350. The parcel is located northwest of the intersection of Bella Vista Way and Oldham Drive. The applicant is Jason Ingalls, PE, Expedient Civil Engineering.
• A proposal for Large Scale Development 46350 that would allow applicant Jason Ingalls, PE, Expedient Civil Engineering, to move forward with plans to build a 3,220 sq. foot commercial building near Bella Vista Way and Oldham Drive.
• A proposal for Large Scale Development 47063 that would allow applicant CEI Engineering Associates, Inc., approval to build a multi-family development known as Cottage Lane Village near Forest Hills Boulevard and Cottage Lane.
The five items to be discussed as new business include:
• A request by the Bella Vista Property Owners Association to rezone property located at 98 Clubhouse Dr. (Bella Vista Country Club), from P-1 Conservation to C-1 Neighborhood Commercial District.
• A request by the Bella Vista Property Owners Association to rezone property located at 2271 Bella Vista Way (Golf Central), from R-1 Residential to C-1 Neighborhood Commercial District.
• A request by the Bella Vista Property Owners Association to rezone property located at 222 Glasgow Road. (Branchwood Recreation Center), from R-1 Residential to C-1 Neighborhood Commercial District.
• A request by applicant Alan Reid and Associates to waive the easement dedication requirements for 2 Pithlochry Circle and 4 Pithlochry Circle.
• A property line adjustment between 2 Pithlochry Circle and 4 Pithlochry Circle. The applicant is Alan Reid & Associates.
The Planning Commission’s February regular session is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 13, at 4:30 pm. while its next work session will be Thursday, March 2, at 4:30 p.m. Both sessions will take place at the District Court Building located at 612 W. Lancashire Blvd.
