• The Property Owners Associatio­n is now accepting Letters to Santa through Dec. 24. Drop your letter in the special holiday post boxes at the following POA locations: BV Bar & Grill, Lakepoint, Highlands Pub & Patio, and member resources locations on Huntley and at Metfield.

• December brings holiday dulcimer music featuring Gary McCarty to the Bella Vista Public Library. Performanc­e dates include: Wednesday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m.; Wednesday, Dec. 13 at 1 p.m.; Monday, Dec. 18 at 11 a.m.

Friday, Dec. 8

On Friday, Dec. 8 from 6-8 p.m., Joyful Noise will be performing Christmas music at the 2nd Friday’s Heart of Fellowship at United Lutheran Church, 100 Cooper Road. Joyful Noise consists of church members from different congregati­ons in Bella Vista. All are welcome to attend and enjoy entertainm­ent, specialty coffees, hot apple cider, snacks and community fellowship.

Saturday, Dec. 9

• The Bella Vista Public Library will host “Cookies with Santa” on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Attendees will be treated to songs, stories, crafts and hot chocolate, with special guest Santa Claus. Cookies will be provided. Attendance, space, parking and supplies are limited.

• The Bella Vista Historical Museum is holding a fundraiser from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9. Jill Werner of Agatha’s Table will sell her homemade jams and jellies with a percentage of her sales going to the museum. The museum gift shop will also be open for holiday shopping. Museum admission is free.

Sunday, Dec. 10

The Bella Vista Community Band will perform its last concert of the year on Dec. 10 at 3 p.m. at the Bella Vista Community Church, 75 Lancashire Blvd.

Tuesday, Dec. 19

Flames2Fir­e Ministries Food Pantry and New Life Christian Church of Bella Vista host a drive-thru food pantry every third Tuesday of the month between 9:30-11 a.m. The next one is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 19 in the Bella Vista Recreation Center parking lot. A variety of foods are available, including produce, frozen meat, sweets, bread, canned goods, dry goods and cleaning products.

Volunteers serve those picking up food in a car line by taking food off tables and loading it into the vehicles. More informatio­n is at f2fpantry.com.
