Monday, Nov. 13
8:49 a.m. Police received a report on Taransay Circle that a dog had been barking since 7 a.m. Police spoke to the owner who was not home and the owner said they would check the batteries on the bark collars.
Tuesday, Nov. 14
3:43 p.m. Police arrested Vernon A. Conklin, 41, in connection with speeding, no driver’s license and no insurance during a traffic stop at Ealing Circle and Wellington.
8 p.m. Police arrested Keith Alvaro Gomez, 32, in connection with expired VL, DWI suspended driver’s license and no insurance during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 71 Southbound and Bella Vista Golf Maintenance.
Wednesday, Nov. 15
1:42 p.m. Police received a report on Arkansas Highway 279 of a Jeep Cherokee driving from Cooper headed toward the police department and driving all over the road. An officer stopped the vehicle and gave the driver a written warning for careless driving.
Thursday, Nov. 16
10:53 a.m. Police received a report on Roughton Lane that someone stole construction material from a job site. The thefts had been going on for a while, the report said. 1:47 p.m. Police received a report on Norwood Drive of a school bus violation. The video showed the vehicle stop for one student then start driving again before the second student crossed the road, the report said.
4:06 p.m. Police received a report on Mayfair Drive that a man was walking around a house looking in windows while the owners were not home. Police made contact with the man and learned he was with a company trying to get contracts to hang Christmas lights. Police told him he needed to get a permit.
Friday, Nov. 17
3:09 p.m. Police received a report at the police department that someone had missing jewelry. This was part of an ongoing case being handled by one of the department’s detectives.
Saturday, Nov. 18
6:18 p.m. Police arrested Teddy Sanchez, 41, in connection with suspended driver’s license and no liability insurance during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 71 Northbound and Bella Vista Golf Maintenance.
8:04 p.m. Police arrested Dion Marie Hrycun, 45, in connection with no driver’s license, open container, possession of a controlled substance and defective tail lights during a traffic stop at U.S. Highway 71 and Riordan.
Sunday, Nov. 19
7:20 p.m. Police received a report at Trafalgar and Damerham of someone walking around in a ravine and climbing a tree and shining a light. Police responded and were unable to locate anyone.
Monday, Nov. 20
1:32 p.m. Police arrested J. Cruz Reyes-Viera, 46, in connection with suspended driver’s license, no insurance and fictitious tags during a traffic stop at U.S. Highway 71 and Bella Vista Golf Maintenance.
Tuesday, Nov. 21
5:14 p.m. Police received a report on Nantucket Drive that someone’s basement door was open and a light was on, and they asked for an officer to clear the room. Officers cleared the basement and found no visible sign of someone being there recently.
Wednesday, Nov. 22
9:28 a.m. Police received a report at the police station that someone had an engagement ring stolen from their residence. 4:33 p.m. Police arrested Taylor Ann Jackson, 24, in connection with possession of drug paraphernalia and open container, and Andrew Forster, 33, in connection with obstructing government operations during a traffic stop at U.S. Highway 71 and the state line.
Thursday, Nov. 23
8:12 a.m. Police received a report on Selkirk Drive that a construction crew was playing loud music. An officer responded and asked the crew to turn the music down.
Friday, Nov. 24
10:09 p.m. Police received a report on Abbey Lane of a barking dog near the reporting person’s home. Police were unable to locate the source of the barking.
Saturday, Nov. 25
1:46 p.m. Police arrested Paul Daniel Jaramillo, 38, in connection with driving while intoxicated, DWI refusal, resisting arrest, speeding, driving left of center, obstructing government operations and assault third degree during a traffic stop at U.S. Highway 71 South and Interstate 49. 3:06 p.m. Police arrested Jolyene Larea Leonard, 42, in connection with an out-of-town warrant during a traffic stop at U.S. Highway 71 South and BC 40.
Sunday, Nov. 26
3:55 a.m. Police received a report on Boyce Drive that someone was awakened by a loud banging noise from the downstairs area of their home. An officer responded and checked the home and everything was safe.
