First United Methodist Church

The Healing Strong support group will meet on Monday, April 15 at 6 p.m. (third Monday of the month). The group is for those recovering from cancer or other diseases and provides informatio­n on natural, non-toxic strategies for healing strong and staying strong. The sessions last an hour and focus on food, detoxifica­tion, supplement­s, affirmatio­ns and prayer.

United Methodist Men will meet Wednesday, April 17 at 5:30 p.m. in Becker Hall to share a meal and enjoy a brief program. The spring pancake breakfast, “Coffee, Pancakes and Cars,” is planned for Saturday, May 4.

The United Women in Faith meet each Thursday morning at 9 a.m. as they work on unique items for this fall’s bazaar. Those items are then sold for the benefit of women, children and youth of Benton County.

The first Thursday of every month there is a support group for those living with or providing care for a loved one with cognitive issues. Sponsored and facilitate­d by the Schmieding Center, the group meets at 12:30 p.m. in the church parlor. Respite care is available.

The yoga group meets Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. in Becker Hall. No advance registrati­on or fees are required to attend.

Highland Christian Church Bella Vista (DOC)

The Disciples Women’s Fellowship meets the second Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. in Keller Hall. The next meeting is April 13. All women are invited to attend.

The Disciples Men’s Fellowship meets the third Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. in Keller Hall. The next meeting is April 20. All men are invited to attend. Breakfast is served and is followed by fellowship, a devotional and discussion­s.

Presbyteri­an Church of Bella Vista

The Presbyteri­an Men’s Group meets next on Saturday, May 4 at 9:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall. Informatio­n: pcbv.org.

United Lutheran Church

The 2024 Pumpkin Patch Arts & Crafts Festival will be held the weekend of October 17-19. There are just three indoor booths remaining and about a dozen outdoor booth spaces available. The cost to reserve a booth is $100 until April 30 and then the cost will go up to $125. Informatio­n: 479-855-1325.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church

Griefshare classes have started and continue through June 25. This is a support group for those who have lost a loved one. Informatio­n: 479640-1508.

Pastor Hass is leading “Christiani­ty 101” in the church library each Sunday at 9:45 a.m. People who are interested in becoming a new member are invited to learn about Bella Vista Lutheran Church.

The Shepherd’s Food Pantry is open on Fridays from 10 a.m.-noon.

The Quilters meet the second and fourth Wednesdays starting at 8:30 a.m. to make quilts for the needy.

Adult choir rehearsals are on Wednesdays in the choir room following the evening services.

The youth of the church are gathering used ink cartridges of any kind to help pay for the national youth gathering. The cartridges should be dropped off in the basket next to the door entering the kitchen.

Bella Vista Community Church

The Women’s Bible Study is studying Genesis 1-11: Creation, sin, and the nature of God. The cost of the book is $10. There are two identical studies to choose from each Tuesday — 9:15-11 a.m. and 5:30-6:45 p.m. The study is open to all ladies in the community.

There are two Men’s Bible Fellowship programs. One meets every Wednesday at 9 a.m. The other meets the second and fourth Thursdays of the month at 6 p.m. Both studies are open to all men in the community.

Prayer Fellowship meets in the chapel every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. to pray for individual and community needs. Email requests to karen@bvcc.net.

Anyone interested in singing or being part of a bell choir is welcome to join practice on Wednesdays. The bell choir meets at 4:30 p.m. and the choir practices at 5:30 p.m.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry invites anyone who enjoys knitting or crocheting to join them. Contact the church for times and dates. This group makes prayer shawls, baby blankets, prayer squares and hats to minister to others. Yarn is provided.

Those interested in playing ping pong are invited to join the group on Thursday mornings from 9-10 a.m. in the fellowship hall.

Village Bible Church

The Oasis Food Pantry is open every Wednesday from 10 a.m.-noon.

Each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. the church hosts its Praise & Prayer service that is open to all.

The third Thursday of each month VBC meets from 7:308:30 a.m. at Cooper Chapel to pray for “Into the Light,” a program working to end human traffickin­g and bring hope to survivors. All are welcome to meet up for prayer.

A men’s fellowship breakfast is held every third Saturday of the month from 8-10 a.m. All are welcome.

Bella Vista Christian Fellowship

The Bella Vista Christian Fellowship is a gathering of Christians seeking meaningful Christian service and fellowship. It is ecumenical in design and non-denominati­onal with open communion and all are welcome.

The life and ministry of the Bella Vista Christian Fellowship is administer­ed by the members. Pastor Richard A. Solberg leads Sunday service, but the organizati­on and direction of the fellowship is assumed by the laity. Everyone has a sense of ownership and responsibi­lity.

Meeting time is every Sunday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of St. Bernard Catholic Church, 1 St. Bernard Lane. The fellowship welcomes Christians and seekers to service. Questions can be answered by emailing bvcfinform­ation@gmail.com.
