• I kind of have a complaint. The city of Longmont, when they plowed Sixth and Pratt, they did a terrible job on Sixth. They didn’t even come close to the curb … so there’s piles of snow there. If you’re going to plow, do it right. … And the second thing is, why don’t people clean their whole car off? Some people are driving around; they haven’t cleaned lights off, their tail lights off, or nothing. They’re going to cause an accident. Don’t be so lazy. Clean your whole car off, including your roof. Don’t be so lazy, people here in Longmont.

• Regarding the coronavirus numbers in the school district: St. Valley School District did not respond to questions, according to your article in the Tuesday, Oct.

27, paper about the change in restrictions that may occur because of the numbers going up as much as they have just in the last three or four days. They’ve chosen not to respond. And yet their dashboard numbers, publicly on their dashboard, are much higher than the Boulder Valley School

District, whose spokesman chose to comment about what’s going on in Boulder Valley Schools. Why are the St. Vrain Valley Schools’ numbers so high when Boulder Valley Schools, student, staff are not for positive and active cases? Someone needs to ask that question and find out why the St. Vrain Valley School district is doing so poorly in terms of numbers when the Boulder Valley School District is not.

• Here, for a few days, we talk about doing away with the time change. Maybe one of these years it will happen.

• The problem with the TC Line is that it’s anonymous potshots, no better than Twitter. Put names on it like you do the readers’ comments on Saturdays, and TC line will become more respectable.

• I can’t believe the owners of the sleeper vehicles/rvs think that trashing our streets and parks is in any way of beautification for the city of Longmont. You’ve got to be joking.

• There are so many things wrong with the new order not to park our RVS on the street. How are we supposed to load them up? A lot of people store their RVS, bring them home and get them ready for camping. How’s that going to work? Also there are some of us who use our RVS as our second vehicles. They’re small and drivable and easy to park. How’s that going to work? And has the City Council forgotten that we’re in the middle of a pandemic and in the middle of winter? What are people supposed to do if they’ve lost their jobs, their homes, etc., because of this and were sleeping in their car? This is such a dumb thing to do that it is beyond belief.

Editor’s note: The code would exempt RVS being actively loaded or unloaded while parked on streets.
