2020 ALL-REGION TEAM
Allison Beasley, Sr., Peak to Peak: The Pumas senior hadastrongkickattheendof the 3A state race at Norris Penrose Event Center, finishing third in 19 minutes, 20 seconds. Her best time of the season came the week before at regionals as she edged out a victory in 18:29 on the Holy Family course.
Imani Fernandez-gorbea, Sr., Fairview: FernandezGorbea saved her best result of the season for last, finishing 26th at the 5A state race in 19:16. Earlier in the fall, the senior won the Socially Distant XC Invite in Northglenn, also going sub-20.

Niwot: The Princeton commit put a nice close on her sensational high school cross country career in 2020. In the waning weeks of a season that couldn’t have been stranger, she finished second at the
Beet Juice Invite in Littleton (18:02), second in regionals (18:27) and 13th in the 4A state race (19:19).
Maelynn Higgins, So., Broomfield: Higgins won an invite at Monarch (19:21), finished second in her region (19:14) and had the secondbest time among area runners at the state meet in Colorado Springs. As a sophomore, Higgins finished 20th in the 5A race with a time of 19:01.
Maggie Mccleskey, Jr., Centaurus: Mccleskey won the NCAC League championship (19:51) and finished sub-20 minutes for a third straight state meet. Thinking there’ll be a fourth — probably a strong bet. At her latest, Mccleskey finished 14th in the 4A race, crossing in 19:21.
Mia Mraz, Jr., Legacy: Mraz won four invites throughout the shortened fall season, including a runaway victory at the South Front Range League meet at Monarch, where she beattherestofthefieldby more than 20 seconds in 19:57. In the 5A state race, she finished 33rd in 19:33.

Broomfield: The Eagles finished seventh in the 5A state race. Even better? All five scoring runners are eligible to return in 2021. Parks went sub20 five different times this season and was second on the team at state, running 19:30.
Mia Prok, Fr., Niwot: Prok won every meet she took part of heading into state — the Battle Mountain Husky Invitational (19:15), the Fairview Invite (18:33), the
Beet Juice Invite (17:38), the 4A Region 3 meet (18:13) — and was second in the 4A state race (18:02). Her state time was 59.5 seconds faster than any
