Boulder County crews responding to grass fire in Gunbarrel
Mary Ellen Brueckner: Thank you, firefighters.
Brandy Vice: I can see this from work. Gonna be another one of those summers.
Boulder County lifts evacuation orders for grass fire west of Longmont
Lynn Barton: Saw on new last night that the Boulder County Fire crews are fried and on edge — probably the entire population, as well. And all of Colorado. all of the western USA. It really is getting old, even though, thankfully, I haven’t been directly involved or affected by fires the last few years. God is not answering our prayers down here for moisture.
Thomas Lawson: It takes but a spark these days. So very dry.
Nicole Jordan: Somebody at work just told me about the fire. When I made the comment, “What is going on with all these fires?” the answer was climate change. I wasn’t aware fires can just randomly start now. I was still under the impression that fire had to be started by something.
Table Mountain Fire sparked by drone crash
Michele Turner Christensen: That’s awful! Why would someone even fly a drone in high winds! Seriously! Everyone needs to be very careful and watchful especially right now. Another red flag day today
Stephanie Leach: “Conducting severe weather studies.” How ironic!
Brian Walko: Lithium batteries! Highly flammable when ruptured.
Christopher Antonucci Goffredo: Almost had bison burgers for all yesterday.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife: Put bird feeders away to keep bears away
Anna Wilson Young: I saw a bear cross the Diagonal yesterday about 1:45 near the intersection at Airport.
Cheyanne Fairow: Their habitat keeps getting built on.
Boulder County osprey lay two eggs
Jason Hanson: Which one laid the eggs you think?
Becky Nuesken: Woot woot!
Longmont police: Two people arrested after stabbing
Randy Yardworker: Enough is enough, ban knives!
Jeffrey Justice: Oh no, yet another edged weapon crime in Longmont. We need stronger knife laws.
Maria Dolores Power: But, were they let go after a paltry 2.5 hours of incarceration?
In wake of King Soopers shooting, Boulder High graduate creates tote bag that can transform into Kevlar vest
Jeffrey Justice: I deeply respect the young man’s creativity and passion to help after a tragedy. But this article leaves more questions than answers regarding its effectiveness, testing and different classes of body armor. This product is Class 3a. Look it up. I would prefer proactive security measures rather than reactive.
