Windsor ran away with the team win at Indian Peaks on Tuesday, but Silver Creek (second, 307 strokes), Holy Family (third, 319), Centaurus (fourth, 320), Longmont (fifth, 348) and Mead (6th, 355) managed to round out the top six team finishes. Silver Creek senior Ben Harding — who is ranked No. 10 in Class 4A with a 71.8 scoring average — carded a 3-under 69 to take the individual victory as Holy Family junior Rudiger Heitz (fourth, 73), Silver Creek senior Tyler Plaster (sixth, 75), Holy Family junior Wiley St. Germain (T7th, 77), Centaurus junior Matthew Vaver (T7th, 77) and Centaurus senior Asa Wentworth (ninth, 78) all placed within the top 10. The NCAC League teams face a tougher path forward than that of the FRL, as Windsor finished the tournament ranked fourth in Class 4A and Silver Creek finished at No. 10.

Mile High League

At Thorncreek last week, Peak to Peak placed second among Metro League competitio­n with a cumulative 306, just 18 strokes behind first-place Kent Denver. Freshman Jack Brayman tied for 6th with a 74 as junior Jack Winter (T9th, 76), junior George Brady (T11th, 77) and sophomore Om Mathur (T13th, 79) played a tight game with their team leader. Prospect Ridge freshmen Keaton Jackson and Owen Kohler also carded 79s to tie for 13th with Mathur and Faith Christian’s Caleb Bobb.

The final Metro League meet will take place Thursday at Indian Tree.

Longs Peak League

In the league invitation­al that Northridge hosted at Boomerang on Tuesday, Riverdale Ridge ran away with the competitio­n as Severance played a close second. Niwot lagged 27 strokes behind the Ravens at fourth place, carding 241 strokes in all. Junior Emmett Shell and freshman Jackson Sessa matched each other’s ninthplace efforts with a pair of 78s.
