Why not take your idea of red light cameras and speeding cameras a step further, and the city can hire contractors (to) go put boots on cars that have expired tags?

• I just want to give a shout out to our street and sanitation department, and especially the workers, for doing a really bang-up job during the longest winter I can remember since 1984. … It’s been a long winter for all of us, and extra hard for them, and I very much appreciate their effort and work and responsiveness.
Red lights
I’d like to make a comment about everyone running the red lights, and when I (say) everyone, I mean the police as well. I was at an intersection, my light was green, and as I proceeded to go, a cop ran the red light. If I was out just a little bit farther, he would have hit me. So everyone needs to pay attention to those red lights, including law enforcement.
Kudos to the library for making the library more welcoming and accessible by eliminating the fees. The High Plains Library District reported that after they eliminated fees, 95% of materials were returned within a week of the due date. Let’s teach our kids to be good citizens and return books because it’s the right thing to do, and not because they’d owe 10 cents.
Presidents, economy
• Well, let’s see if this one gets printed. I can’t believe the ignorance of people, thinking that the Biden economy has generated 12 million jobs in the last two years. I don’t know what those people are smoking, but they need to stop.
• This is about the “Trump economy.” That’s fantasy. You’re talking about the Obama-biden economy that grew for eight years with the Republicans saying no to everything. And then Trump came in, ran the ball … 1 yard and then proceeded to immediately crash the economy.
Unemployment
If you read an article about how unemployment claims are going way down, but they don’t mention anything about the workforce participation rate, you might want to be a little cautious about believing what they say. Many people drop off the unemployment rosters because they quit working. They quit trying to find jobs. They gave up. They’ve got welfare. Why should they bother?
Chinese balloon
So Biden knew about the balloon before it ever reached Alaska and did nothing about it until the American people got upset about … it spying on our military facilities throughout the country. Kind of tells you that Biden is owned by the Chinese, doesn’t it?
