Thank you for helping Friends of the Longmont Library

The Friends of the Longmont Library find ourselves overwhelmed by the generosity and support of our community. We have just had our most profitable sale in recent memory! Thank you seems insufficient to express our gratitude to the essential volunteers, whose help make these sales possible. Mark your calendar for our next sale May 10-13, 2023. Until then, fulfill your reading needs by visiting our Lobby Book Shop for the best of the best at very reasonable prices. Credit cards are accepted.

We are grateful to the public for donating books, your donations allow us to have these sales. Thank you to everyone who joined or renewed your Friends membership; your $15 is helpful in providing monies for library programs. A special thank you to the library employees; we are so grateful for the help extended to our book sale team.

Many of the programs that you enjoy are paid for by the Friends. These are some of the things that the money from the sale and memberships help fund: all virtual programs; Discovery passes to the Butterfly Pavilion, Denver Botanic Gardens, Denver Firefighters Museum, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Longmont Museum, Fort Collins Museum of Discovery, WOW! Children’s Museum and many more places to see in our area.

Spring is coming, watch for the seed library and take a packet or two for your garden. The library of things includes outdoor games; tools and equipment; useful household items; technology and gadgets.
