Cracker packages

I know grocery stores have picked up that a lot of families are small now, and they have premade dinners for small families. I wish grocery stores would do that for things like crackers. If they would make crackers available in smaller-size packages so that they don’t go stale before a senior or single purchaser can use them up. Just something (for) King Soopers or Safeway (to) keep … in mind when they’re filling their shelves.

Purpose of prison

You might think about what the purpose of our jails and penitentiaries is. Is it just retribution? Or do we want to see people come out and be part of our community? If we just punish them, they’ll be back in, costing us more. If we really want to punish the right people, how about the heads of pharmaceutical companies that have outpriced lifesaving things like insulin or knowingly put other products out on the market that killed thousands of people, and they face no punishment?

Self-service emissions tests

Instead of having emission stations with the systems that they have to measure emissions, there should be a self-service for vehicles approximately 15 years old or newer. Just plug into your port for diagnosing the car — very simple, and that’s all they do. The only other issue is the gas cap, and I’m sure we can work that out. We could almost hand them out for time involved. At any rate, I think that we need to put another idea forward to reduce the emission testing, as it’s simply being done by the car computer anymore and can be done by anyone at a self-serve. I really appreciate your consideration. I love this column.
