Woman gets probation, house arrest in fatal Longmont crash
SHAWNA RAE >> Wow. And here I was raised that two wrongs don’t make a right.
LAIVY ANCHONDO >> It’s like math, a negative times a negative equals a positive. No jail time for driving drunk and killing someone, but it’s OK because they were drunk too
JESSIE DRISCOLL >> Nice. Probation for intoxication (drunk) driving! No wonder … so many drunk driving accidents happen.
JOSIAH MARTINEZ >> Colorado (is) slowly turning into San Francisco and Seattle. It will get worse as there’s no punishment for serious crimes. And the local citizens are the ones that suffer.

Johnnie St. Vrain: How long can a semi linger in a Longmont neighborhood?
CAMILLE SERMON-FRUGÉ >> I have called numerous times regarding this issue with no results. The invention of GPS has not helped drivers stick to trucking routes. I understand if there is a job site they are delivering too, but unfortunately the trucking route signs are sometimes ignored because it isn’t the fastest way to 287, 119, or 1-25. TIM DUNCAN >> Great, now the Karens are going to start screaming at truck drivers. I hope y’all realize that won’t go over too well for you, truckers aren’t gonna take your bull.
REGINA GULLO CASEY >> I think the concern is a trucker parking his/her rig in residential areas where they live, which is illegal. Besides the noise, residential streets aren’t paved to handle the weight of big rigs sitting in place for long periods. This can cause dips and sinking of pavement.

Longmont’s South Main station developer could bring El Pollo Loco to Boulder Valley, Northern Colorado

TINA EATON-SCOTT >> I can’t believe people don’t wear seatbelts. Prayers for their family.
RODNEY SMITH >> If you’re wearing a seatbelt, it’s so easy to survive most crashes.
SPENCER SIVERLING >> Sad, but also wear a seatbelt and then you won’t die.
