Sweet words

I would like to tell all TC Line callers to keep your words sweet, because you never know when you may have to eat them. Therefore keep your words sweet.

Best places to live

Boulder was listed as one of the best places to live. I’d much rather live in Longmont. Boulder is too expensive, too hard to get around, and Longmont has many more nonprofits that help people.

Headline grammar

• I’m calling just to give some support to what the caller said in today’s paper about your headline grammar. Yes, fewer schools, maybe less learning. And this is an error I see all the time. And it’s not the only one. There are a number of them. But it would be nice if paper could be a good example to the students in our schools for correct grammar.

• This is to the person who wrote it in headline grammar, about the use of the word “less” instead of “fewer.” I, too, was concerned about that and contacted the journalist who wrote the article. They sent me their article and told me it was the Times-call that changed they’re heading to “less.” I think the Times-call needs to send an apology or be held liable … legally responsible for creating a change in anyone’s articles that will attribute negative comments to them.

Durham report

• I appreciate the paper’s article on the Durham report exposing the grave errors and the unprofessionalism of the FBI in pursuing the Russian collusion story about Trump. I think the FBI’S partisan and just clearly biased efforts to link Trump to something without adequate evidence to support their inquiries and their willingness even to lie and change email content in order to press their case should alarm all Americans, right and left.

• Could the news — the important news — about Trump being found innocent of any Russian collusion be buried any further back in the newspaper? After months of endless false claims on the front page, the Durham report finally shows that the claims against Trump are baseless and that the FBI has been weaponized by the Democrats against the GOP political opponents. Times-call, please give us the news, not your bias.

• People keep complaining about Fox News misinformation. It seems the Washington Post and The New York Times were leaders in the Russian collusion investigation that was completely false. Not only that, they won Pulitzer Prizes for it. Congratulations.
