Police seek suspects in Mcdonald’s robbery

Police are looking for three suspects involved in a robbery at a McDonald’s restaurant in Abington Sept. 17.

The incident occurred at 6:05 a.m. at the McDonald’s on the 1600 block of Old vork Road after three black males allegedly entered the restaurant and announced a robbery, according to Abington police.

At least one of the men was armed with a handgun, police said.

One man remained at the front of the restaurant with the employees who were present, while another male went into the office and forced the manager to empty the safe, police said. A third male stayed by the front door but briefly entered the restaurant, police said.

According to police, the first suspect is between 5 feet U inches and 6 feet tall, with a thin build, wearing dark-colored pants and a dark-colored, hooded sweatshirt with t he hood up. He was armed with the handgun, police said.

The second

suspect is described as 6 feet tall, with a thin build, wearing dark-colored pants and a gray hooded sweatshirt with writing down the right arm and an unknown logo on the left chest, police said. He also had his hood pulled up and was wearing something white over his face, possibly a T-shirt, police said.

During t he r obbery, there were no shots fired and no one was injured; t he amount of cash stolen has not been determined, police said.

The men were last seen running on foot toward Chester Avenue, police said.
