Dorothy McCans of Perkasie

On Saturday, June 9, 2018, Dorothy “Dot” McCans of Perkasie, Pennsylvania went to be with her Lord. She will be rejoicing in her final resting place with her son, Robert McCans and husband, Charles McCans who predeceased her.

Dot was 83 years old, and is survived by her three children: her son, Mike McCans, her daughter Patricia Funk and her husband Steve as well as her daughter Katherine Alburger and her husband Robert as well as her sisterin-law Kathleen Commerer. She was also a very loving grandmother to her seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Her beautiful smile and loving heart will remain within us always as we cherish our memories.

Dot supported her husband Charles during their 63 years of marriage, standing by his side as he built his paving business and enjoying their lives in the heart of Bedminster, Pennsylvania. She loved being outside tending to her beautiful flower gardens, cuddling with their pets, as well as visiting their mountain home and nurturing her family. “There are no goodbyes, wherever you are, you will always be in my heart.”

Dot’s Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 100 Broad Street, Hilltown where the family will receive friends after 10:00 am until the time of mass. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
