Michael G. “Mike” Ritterson, 58, of Coopersbur­g died June 7, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest.

Born in Quakertown he was the son of Marlyn (Pastor) Markley of Coopersbur­g and the late Richard G. Ritterson, Sr.

He worked at the Bon Ton Department Store.

He owned a library card to the Library of Congress, and was a history buff. Michael was highly intelligen­t with a photograph­ic memory.

He loved the Phillies and Eagles and enjoyed watching all kinds of sports.

Michael also participat­ed in Rock Steady Boxing which is therapy specifical­ly designed for Parkinsons Disease. He loved being called by the nickname “Hank”.

In addition to his mother he is survived by a brother Richard G. Ritterson, Jr. and wife Robin of Panama City, FL, two sisters Linda A. Bleam and husband Kevin of Coopersbur­g and Lorraine M. Schleigh and significan­t other Patrick Byrns of Henderson, AR. Numerours nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Predecease­d by a sister Irene Ritterson.

A Celebratio­n of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangemen­ts are in the care of the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www. crstrunk.com) Quakertown.
