Richard Lewis of Quakertown

Richard (Rick) Lewis, 66 years old, of Quakertown, PA passed away on June 5, 2018 with his loving family by his side. He was born in San Diego, CA on August 12, 1951. Son of John and Jeanne Lewis. Rick was a union organizer his whole life and retired from Pennsylvania State Education Association in 2014. He enjoyed gardening, the Phillies, taking walks around his neighborhood and being “Pops” to his 8 grandchildren; Patrick, Angela, Julian, Gabriel, Julia, Grace, Jackie and Coby. He is survived by his loving wife Joyce Cook-Lewis (Quakertown) and his children Lucy Larkins (Clint), Rena Lewis (Kevin), David Slentz, Andrew Armstrong, Heidi Slentz and Jennifer Slentz. He is also survived by his sister, Patricia Lewis (AZ) and his uncle Monsignor Gerald Lewis (NC) Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Monday, June 11 at 1pm at the Wayside Chapel 1156 Horsham Rd Ambler, PA.
