Peter Andrew Montague, 51, of Glenside passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his wife Margie and loving family.

Peter is survived by his wife Margie, son Peter Jr., stepchildr­en Chris, Nicholas and Michele, his mother Susan Montague and the late James J. Montague. He is also survived by his siblings James (Michele), Margaret McGonigle (Kevin) and Michael (Antoinette). Peter was loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and his in laws, the entire Kenny family. Pete’s son “little” Pete was his pride and joy.

Pete was a legend among his Glenside friends and St. Luke’s and Bishop McDevitt communitie­s. He was known for his humor, “playful” personalit­y, humility and big heart. These qualities made him loved by all who met him.

Pete met Margie, the love of his life 5 years ago. They married on the beach in Wildwood Crest and created a loving home for their boys. Pete adored Margie and they loved spending time in Wildwood Crest. Pete also enjoyed playing golf with his good friends and family.

Viewing was held Wednesday, October 24th at the Church of St. Luke the Evangelist 2316 Fairhill Ave Glenside, PA 19038, followed by a mass.
