THEFT >> Three batteries were reported stolen at 7 a.m. Nov. 5 from a dump truck parked at Larsen Hall, Arcadia University, 1601 W. Church Road, police said.

THEFT >> Shiree Love, 44, of the 100 block of North 49th Street, Philadelph­ia, is being charged by summons with retail theft after taking $127 worth of items from ShopRite, 2471 Cheltenham Ave., at 5:21 p.m. Nov. 5, police said.

GUNSHOTS >> Residents in the 400 block of West Glenside Avenue reported hearing five to six gunshots at 8:17 p.m. Nov. 5 and seeing a silver sedan speed away, police said. The area was searched with negative results, but an investigat­ion is continuing, police said.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY >> An attempt was made to enter Elkins Park School, 8149 New Second St., overnight Nov. 5 by throwing a fire extinguish­ed through a skylight in the roof, police said.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS >> A 16-year-old Glenside male was cited for defiant trespass after illegally entering a vacant industrial building in the 400 block of West Mount Carmel Avenue, Glenside, without permission at 11:51 a.m. Nov. 6, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> David Riviello, 34, of the 1100 block of Bethlehem Pike, North Wales, was charged with retail theft after taking $199 worth of goods from Home Depot, 7690 Washington Lane, a 12:48 p.m. Nov. 6, police said. THEFT >> A person reported withdrawin­g $160 from the ATM at Wawa, 8250 Limekiln Pike, Wyncote, around 12:30 p.m. Nov. 6, and after failing to retrieve the money, the victim returned at 1 p.m., but the money was gone, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> Three males entered T-Mobile, 70 Yorktown Plaza, at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 6, cut the security cable to four iPhones and left on foot with the phones valued at $1,000 to $1,300 each, police said.

THEFT >> A male walked into Sprint PCS, 3001 W. Cheltenham Ave., at 12:54 p.m. Nov. 7 and stole two iPhones, police said. RETAIL THEFT >> A 17-yearold Philadelph­ia male was cited for retail theft at 6:11 p.m. Nov. 7 after taking $88.82 worth of goods from Target, 2450 Shoppers Lane, police said.
