Sheldon J. Einhorn
Sheldon J. Einhorn, of Boynton Beach and Rydal, served for four years as a meteorologist in the Air Force. He received his Doctorate in Mathematics from Penn in 1969. Sheldon specialized in major defense strategies, including buoys in the Pacific, anti-missile defense programs, and airline repair systems. He authored many articles in journals of mathematics. After years in defense work, he became the manager of his wife’s real estate company, Century 21 EinhornAdler. Sheldon loved duplicate bridge, the English language, “fixing things,” playing the ukulele, and he had a passion for tennis, passing away suddenly on November 6, 2018, in the midst of a winning game. He was kind, gentle, and compassionate. Sheldon is lovingly remembered by his wife, Miriam, son Andrew Einhorn, daughter Janet Einhorn (Craig Spielman), and Janet’s daughters, Andrea Sue Hollenbach and Sharon Rose Hollenbach.
