ROBBERY » Two Philadelph­ia men were arrested following the armed robbery of a person withdrawin­g money from an ATM at Citizen’s Bank, 1919 Easton Road, at 1:14 p.m. Jan. 13, police said. A vehicle entered by the armed suspect fled at a high rate of speed and was found unoccupied in a residentia­l area near Highland Elementary, which was placed on lockout status, police said. The two suspects were found while attempting to flee on foot and the firearm used in the robbery and the victim’s money were recovered, police said.

Gerald W. Keener, 38, of the 5600 block of Market Street, and Lawrence Widman, 42, of the 1200 block of Lehigh Avenue, were charged with robbery, conspiracy, aggravated assault conspiracy, receiving stolen property, firearms offenses, and related charges and were arraigned and taken to Montgomery County Prison on $99,000 bail, police said.

THEFT » A vehicle parked at Giant food store, 737 Huntingdon Pike, between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Jan. 13 was found broken into with about $10 change taken, police said. CARJACKING » Nisira Wilson, 18, of the 1300 block of North Conestoga Street, Philadelph­ia, and two 16-yearold Philadelph­ia males were charged with robbery and related offenses after they allegedly attempted to carjack a woman at 4:23 p.m. Jan. 14 in the parking lot outside Bloomingda­le’s at the Willow Grove Park mall, police said. The victim, who sustained minor injuries after being dragged from her vehicle and thrown to the ground, began to call police and while one attempted to take control of the vehicle the other two assaulted her again and then the three fled on foot and were observed by an officer entering the mall, where they were apprehende­d, police said. Wilson is being held on $10,000 bail at Montgomery County Prison and the two juveniles are being detained at the Montgomery County Youth Center, police said.

RETAIL THEFT » A suspect believed to have stolen items from Ross Dress For Less, 911 Old York Road, stole cosmetics at the store at 4:23 p.m. Jan. 14, police said.

THEFT » A duffel bag containing about $400 worth of items was stolen from a vehicle found at 10:45 p.m. Jan. 14 with the rear driver side window smashed out while parked at Elkins Crest Health and Rehab, 265 Township Line Road, police said. THEFT » About $5 in change was taken from a vehicle broken into overnight Jan. 14 while parked in the 2500 block of Pershing Avenue, police said.

THEFT » A person was observed by surveillan­ce video entering an unlocked vehicle and going through it at 2:24 a.m. Jan. 16 in the 900 block of Penn Avenue, police said. RETAIL THEFT » Two people stole shopping carts full of goods from the CVS, 835 Old York Road, at 12:49 a.m. Jan. 17, police said.

ASSAULT » Arthur D. Brown Jr., 26, of Glenside, was charged with aggravated assault, recklessly endangerin­g another person, a weapons offense, harassment and reckless and careless driving, after allegedly pointing a firearm at a person at 10:09 a.m. Jan. 17, during a domestic incident in the 2900 block of Susquehann­a Road, police said.

RETAIL THEFT » Donald Hanible, 49, of Philadelph­ia, and Khalil Malik, 44, of Philadelph­ia, were charged with felony counts of retail theft, conspiracy, and receiving stolen property after allegedly stealing $3,625 worth of coats from Macy’s, 2450 Moreland Road, at 11:36 a.m. Jan. 17, police said.

RETAIL THEFT » A person stole about $250 to $300 worth of items from the Giant food store, 737 Huntingdon Pike, at 2:41 p.m. Jan. 17, police said.

THEFT » A package containing 18-inch fluorescen­t light bulbs was stolen from outside a home in the 200 block of Runner Street Jan. 17, police said.

RETAIL THEFT » A person stole $79 worth of alcohol from the Wine&Spiritssto­re, 935OldYork Road, at 4:24 p.m. Jan. 17, and left in a white SUV, police said. THEFT » A pouch containing debit and credit cards, a pair of glasses and diabetic equipment was reported stolen at 5:06 p.m. Jan. 17 from a room at Abington Memorial Hospital, 1200 Old York Road, police said.

RETAIL THEFT » A cartful of goods, including three large boxes of Pampers diapers valued at $105, was stolen around 7:15 p.m. Jan. 17 from CVS, 2870 Moreland Road, police said.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF » The front window on the door of a home in the 400 block of Edge Hill Road was shot with a BB at 10:38 p.m. Jan. 17, police said. The front window of Ardsley Auto Tags also was shattered by a BB around 9:30 p.m., police said.

PEDESTRIAN­S STRUCK » Two pedestrian­s were struck at Old York Road at The Fairway at 11:10 p.m. Jan. 18 by a vehicle whose driver lost control, crossed the median strip and struck them while they were crossing in the crosswalk, police said. Both were taken to Abington Memorial Hospital, one with serious injuries, and an investigat­ion is continuing, police said.

THEFT » The catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle parked between 10 p.m. Jan. 18 and 7 am. Jan. 19 on Horace Avenue near Old York Road, police said.

THEFT » A tip jar containing about $50 was reported stolen at 5:29 p.m. Jan. 19 at Yeung’s Cajun Grill in the Willow Grove Park mall food court, police said.

THEFT » A witness reported observing someone take a catalytic converter from a vehicle parked in the Rydal Park garage on The Fairway around 6:30 p.m. Jan. 19, police said.

AUTO THEFT » An unlocked, unoccupied vehicle left running for about 10 minutes outside a business in the 1800 block of Easton Road was stolen around 8:25 p.m. Jan. 19, police said.

AUTO RECOVERED » Jayonna T. Mitchell, 26, of Philadelph­ia, was charged with receiving stolen property, unauthoriz­ed use of a motor vehicle and several summary offenses, following a vehicle stop at Old York Road and Adams Avenue for equipment and registrati­on violations at 9:39 a.m. Jan. 19, police said. The vehicle had been stolen out of Philadelph­ia, police said.

ASSAULT » Glen Davis, 60, of Central Avenue, Glenside, was charged Dec. 28 with aggravated and simple assault following an incident in the 1200 block of Old York Road, police said.

RETAIL THEFT » Juliette Marino, 39, of Philadelph­ia, was charged Jan. 1 with a felony count of retail theft and misdemeano­r count of receiving stolen property in the 1400 block of Old York Road, police said.

WARRANT » A 48-year-old man of the 2100 block of North Franklin Avenue, Philadelph­ia, was taken into custody at 9:59 p.m. Jan. 12 in the 1700 block of Chelsea Road on a Cheltenham warrant and in violation of a Protection from Abuse order out of Philadelph­ia, police said.

THEFT » A resident of the 400 block of Valley Road reported at 5:50 p.m. Jan. 13 that surveillan­ce video showed a package containing $130 worth of goods was stolen from the victim’s porch, police said.

THEFT » Rite Aid, 1401 W. Cheltenham Ave., reported Jan. 13 that store video captured a female reaching into a person’s backpack while in line, picking up the victim’s phone that had fallen to the floor and fleeing, police said.
