MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS HOLD A PAJAMA DAY

Fifth grade students at Pottstown Middle School recently wanted to show support for their classmate Joseph “JJ” Pollock, who is battling cancer. With the help of their teacher Ashley Thornton, they organized a Pajama Day fundraiser to benefit Children’s Hospital of Philadelph­ia, where Pollock is being treated. Sponsors donated a dollar to each student who came to school wearing their pajamas. The class raised more than $600.
