Commissioners offer statements of support for Ukraine

In standing with Ukraine, Montgomery County’s top elected officials offered words of solidarity and financial action involving the ongoing Russian invasion.

During her opening comments of Thursday’s board meeting, Montgomery County Commissioners’ Chairwoman Val Arkoosh spoke of the county’s pension plan, of which she learned that

more than $1 million was identified as having “Russian holdings.”
