Fatal shooting at shopping center being investigated as domestic dispute

ABINGTON » Abington Township police and Montgomery County detectives are investigating a domestic dispute homicide which occurred the evening of Monday, March 7, outside a business in the
Huntingdon Valley Shopping Center, according to Police Chief Patrick Molloy.
A press release issued by Molloy said the incident involved a shooting at 8 p.m.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that the shooting occurred as a result of a domestic dispute, police said. A 32-year-old female was arrested at the scene and a firearm was recovered.
The victim, a 30-yearold male, was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.
This incident is being investigated by the Abington Township Police Department Detective Division and the Montgomery County Detective Bureau.
