Jack Worth Howsare

Jack Worth Howsare passed away on December 14, 2021 at the age of 85.

Jack was born in Philadelphia to Eleanor (Swank) and Claude Howsare. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Janet, daughters Laura and Christine, brother Robert (Debra), sister in-law Barbara and several nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Betty and Jeanne and brother Edward.

Jack was a 1953 graduate of Hatboro Horsham High School and continued to maintain friendships from those days. He was a Marine Corps veteran who then put himself through Drexel University at night, while working full time, to earn his BS in Electrical Engineering. He was employed by Philadelphia Electric Company until his retirement. He was a devoted fan of the Phillies and Eagles.

A graveside service will be held at Whitemarsh Memorial Park Saturday April 2 at 11:00am.
