Brian Pisch Memorial Award honors father of EASTERN graduate
WILLOW GROVE >> Eastern Center for Arts and Technology (EASTERN) announces a new award honoring the memory of Brian Pisch, father of a 2017 EASTERN Automotive Technology/Archbishop Wood High School graduate, RJ Panella.
Mr. Pisch passed away in May 2021, and his family has chosen to start this award to keep his memory and name alive while assisting a graduating EASTERN Automotive Technology senior as he or she pursues postsecondary education, preferably at RJ’s alma mater, the University of Northwestern Ohio.
Pisch shared his son’s interest in the skilled trades, especially when it came to cars and motorcycles. The family selected EASTERN for this award because of the positive impact EASTERN’s Automotive Technology had on RJ’s future. As parents, they valued the positive influence that Mr. Stahl, EASTERN’s Automotive Technology instructor, made on their son’s life.
“We are so grateful to the Pisch family for selecting EASTERN as a means of supporting a graduating Automotive Technology senior in honor of their loved one,” said Dr. Cathleen Plesnarski. “We are honored to be part of Mr. Pisch’s legacy going forward.”
