HARASSMENT » A customer who allegedly struck an employee in the face at Claire’s in the Willow Grove Park mall, 2500 Moreland Road, at 11:06 a.m. March 25, was cited for harassment and told not to return to the store, police said.

ID THEFT » Michael B. Colbert Jr., 31, of the 1700 block of 65th Street, Philadelph­ia, was charged with five felony counts of identity theft, after he attempted to buy a car with false ID at Sloane Toyota, 527 Easton Road, around 3 p.m. March 26, police said. He was found in possession of five driver’s licenses, all with his photo, but different names and informatio­n, police said. THEFT » A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle in the 2300 block of Heston Street, Roslyn, between March 26 and 28, police said.

THEFT » A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle in the 1600 block of Arnold Avenue, Willow Grove, between March 25 and 26 police said. WEAPONS OFFENSE » Jaden Hill, 19, of the 400 block of Ellet Street, Philadelph­ia, was taken into custody and charged with carrying a gun without a license and some drug-related charges after her vehicle was stopped for an equipment violation and a ghost gun — a firearm built from pieces purchased online that has no serial number and is not registered — was found in the center console, police said.

THEFT » A customer at Trader Joe’s, 933 Old York Road, Jenkintown, reported at 4:51 p.m. March 28 that her wallet was stolen from her purse while she was in the store, where she recalled a middle-aged male approached her at one point, police said. Two transactio­ns totaling $2,000 were made with her credit card at a Home Depot in Wyncote, police said. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF » A vehicle parked at the Edge Cliff Apartments in the 1500 block of Edge Hill Road was found with Epsom salt in the gas tank at 8 p.m. March 28, police said. THEFT » The catalytic converter was taken from a vehicle parked in the Parkside building lot on the Fairway between 10:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. March 24, police said.

ROBBERY » A male was reported to have robbed the Rite Aid, 1321 Easton Road, at 9:44 p.m. March 29, police said.

FRAUD » A resident reported March 29 while checking email she received a message her computer had a virus, and after calling the number on the message, a male asked for her credit card number to remove the virus and $14,000 was charged to her credit card, police said.

ASSAULT » Three people were taken into custody March 30 after two employees at McDonald’s, 1663 Old York Road, got into a fight at 2:56 p.m. in which one attempted to stab the other with a screwdrive­r, police aid. A boyfriend of one of the participan­ts arrived and began fighting and all were taken to the station, police said.

THEFT » Items valued at $200 were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of Shady Lane, Rockledge, overnight March 29, police said. COUNTERFEI­T » A male who passed a counterfei­t $100 bill at the Pac Sun store in the Willow Grove Park mall, 2500 Moreland Road, at 6:26 p.m. March 30 was located after he fled the mall and was taken into custody, police said.

GUNSHOTS » A report of a gunshot fired inside the Willow Grove Park mall, 2500 Moreland Road, at 7:24 p.m. March 30, appears to have been an accidental discharge, police said. Video showed a male walking through the mall when a gun he had in his rear waistband went off, firing one round that did not injure him or anyone else, police said. The male is seen taking the gun out of his waistband, inspecting it and putting it back before exiting the mall, police said. An investigat­ion is continuing.

DUI » Charges of driving under the influence are pending against a 35-year-old Elkins Park woman following a traffic stop at Old York and Woodland roads March 27, police said.

ARREST » Messiah F. Carver, 19, of the 1700 block of Croskey Street, Philadelph­ia, was charged with access device fraud, identity theft, forgery, bad checks and criminal attempt at unlawful taking, after she allegedly passed stolen checks at 3:09 p.m. March 21 at Citizen’s Bank, 7435 N. Front St., police said.

AUTO STOLEN » A black Kia Soul, PA tag DKT-1008, was reported stolen at 9:40 a.m. March 22 from the 400 block of Rices Mill Road, police said.

RETAIL THEFT » A woman described as a Black female, 5 feet 1 inch, in her 30s, wearing a multi-colored hair bonnet, dark clothing with a gray kneelength sweater and slippers, stole $164.46 worth of goods from Rite Aid, 1401 W. Cheltenham Ave., at 9:49 a.m. March 22, police said. EXTORTION » A resident reported March 22 talking to a female on Instagram who attempted to extort $300 from him, police said. THEFT » A male stole packages from outside a home in the 300 block of Central Avenue at 1:40 p.m. March 26 and left the area in a black sedan toward Myrtle Avenue, police said.

RETAIL THEFT » Two males attempted to push a cart full of medicine valued at $1,600 out the door using an 8-year-old boy at Fresh Grocer, 1000 S. Easton Road, at 2:33 p.m. March 25, police said.

RETAIL THEFT » Sebastian Ceballos, 30, of Flushing, NY, was charged with felony counts of retail theft and receiving stolen property after allegedly stealing $2,303 in goods from Home Depot, 7690 Washington Lane, at 6:29 p.m. March 26, police said.

THEFT » Wyncote Academy, 7613 Old York Road, reported March 28 that several hundred dollars of fraudulent charges were made to a credit card, police said.

ASSAULT » Tyree Chandler, 31, of the 300 block of Broad Street, Philadelph­ia, was charged with possession with attempt to deliver a controlled substance, aggravated assault, simple assault, possession of parapherna­lia, possession of marijuana, reckless endangerme­nt, disorderly conduct and harassment, following an incident at 1:45 p.m. March 28 at Salus University, 8360 Old York Road, police said.

AUTO THEFT » A black 2018 Toyota Camry, PA tag KND7946, was reported stolen at 5:35 p.m. March 29 from the 7600 block of Williams Way, police said.

HOUSE FIRE » A home in the 100 block of Krewson Lane was damaged in a fire reported at 4:46 a.m. March 30, police said. The residents were able to self-evacuate and multiple fire companies responded to the fire in the basement and garage, police said.

THEFT » A NJ driver’s license and credit card were reported stolen at 12:30 p.m. March 30 from an unlocked vehicle at the Towers of Wyncote in the 8400 block of Limekiln Pike, police said.

THEFT » A catalytic converter was reported stolen at 7 p.m. March 30 from a vehicle parked at Hook & Reel, 2401 Cheltenham Ave., police said.

ROBBERY » A Black male, age 25-30, 6 feet 2 inches to 6 feet 3 inches, wearing all black clothing, with tattoos on his hands and face, implied he had a gun and stole an iPhone 13 from Metro PCS, 2401 Cheltenham Ave., at 7:43 p.m. March 30, police said.

WARRANT » Donovan Thorpe, 45, of the 7400 block of Summers Road, Philadelph­ia, was taken into custody at 8:35 a.m. March 31 at Oak Lane and Ashbourne roads on outstandin­g warrants from Montgomery County and Philadelph­ia, charging him with driving under the influence, burglary and a probation violation, police said. THEFT » An Apple MacBook Pro laptop was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 400 block of Harrison Avenue overnight March 30, police said.

ROAD RAGE » A male, 20s to 30s, operating a black Mitsubishi Outlander, allegedly showed a black handgun and left the area of Cedarbrook Plaza following a road rage incident at 5:07 p.m. March 31, police said.

RETAIL THEFT » A Black male, tall, thin build, in his 30s, with brown hair and a full beard, wearing a red t-shirt, black shorts, black socks and black sneakers, stole $113 worth of candy bars from Towne Tobacco, 419 Cheltenham Ave. at 12:21 p.m. April 1, police said.

THEFT » The owner of Hook & Reel restaurant in the 2400 block of West Cheltenham Avenue reported April 2 that an employee stole $596 over a period of several days, police said.

WARRANT » Rick Hollinger, 38, of the 7300 block of Butcher Street, Elkins Park, was arrested at 1:55 p.m. April 3 at the police station on an outstandin­g Cheltenham warrant charging him with aggravated assault, DUI, reckless driving, simple assault, operating a vehicle with a suspended registrati­on, speeding and driving without a license, police said. The charges stemmed from a recent incident in which Hollinger allegedly punched an officer, police said.
