RETAIL THEFT » Multiple pairs of sunglasses, valued at $1,168, were stolen by two people at the Sunglass Hut stand in the Willow Grove Park mall, 2500 Moreland Road, at 12:47 p.m. March 31, police said.

ROBBERY » Kiara Gonzalez, 20, of Camden, N.J., was arrested at 7:13 p.m. March 31 after she allegedly attempted to steal a vehicle that was left running in the 2500 block of Miriam Avenue, Roslyn, police said. The owner of the vehicle was warming the engine outside his house and observed a female enter the vehicle and attempt to drive off, so he ran outside and managed to get the keys from the ignition, police said.

RETAIL THEFT » Imani Greer, 33, of Philadelph­ia, was stopped after attempting to steal a cartful of goods, valued at $390, from Giant, 2350 Susquehann­a Road, at 9:30 p.m. March 31, police said. Greer left the cart, but was found with $44 in goods in her bag, police said. Cedric Edwards, 52, of Philadelph­ia, who was in a vehicle waiting for Greer provided a false name to police and was charged with false ID to law enforcemen­t, police said. VEHICLE RECOVERED » The operator of a vehicle reported stolen in Philadelph­ia was stopped by Abington officers and taken into custody at 10:45 a.m. April 1, police said.

ROBBERY » A male dressed in female Muslim garb robbed the TD Bank, 2900 Moreland Road, at 1:13 p.m. April 2, police said. He left with $7,800 in a bag that was located and recovered and a suspect has been identified and will be charged later this week, police said.

THEFT » Two males in a black Toyota SUV were observed stealing a catalytic converter from a vehicle in the 1600 block of Rockwell Road at 2:28 p.m. April 2, police said.

RETAIL THEFT » A 35-yearold Philadelph­ia man and 34-year-old woman were taken into custody after allegedly stealing $53 worth of items from Aldi, 1955 Davisville Road, at 6:56 p.m. April 2, police said. The vehicle they were in was also found to have $627 worth of items stolen from Walmart in Upper Moreland, police said. RETAIL THEFT » A male and female stole a basket full of pregnancy tests from Rite Aid, 1441 Old York Road, at 7:02 p.m. April 2, police said. ROBBERY » Three juveniles reported two older juveniles demanded they give them their belongings around 7:25 p.m. April 2 at the Willow Grove Park mall, 2400 Moreland Road, police said. When they refused, one of the older males took $20 from the pocket of one victim, police said.

RETAIL THEFT » A male stole $2,442 worth of sweatshirt­s from Macy’s at the Willow Grove Park mall, 2400 Moreland Road, at 8:21 p.m. April 2, police said.

FRAUD » A resident reported April 2 she was scammed by a male she met on an online dating site who said he needed help getting back on his feet and for whom she purchased $6,500 in bitcoin before realizing it was a scam, police said.

THEFT » The catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle parked in the driveway of a home in the 300 block of Shelmire Street overnight April 2, police said.

THEFT » Several gifts were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway of a home in the 200 block of Mayfield Avenue overnight April 2, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A female was observed on surveillan­ce video stealing $1,625 worth of goods from Mom’s Organic Market, 925 Easton Road, at 6:35 p.m. March 31, police said.

THEFT » A Ring camera showed a male going through two unlocked vehicles in the driveway of a home in the 700 block of Roslyn Avenue at 4:35 a.m. April 5 from which a bag and a pair of sunglasses were taken, police said. WARRANT » A male wanted for a burglary was taken into custody at 12:38 p.m. April 6 after he was observed by officers seated in the front passenger seat of a vehicle, police said. No further informatio­n was given. FRAUD » A male reported being approached by another male at 12:48 p.m. April 6 at Wawa, 816 Old York Road, who sold him a gold chain for $100, which he said he needed to take his daughter back to Florida, police said. The victim took the chain to a pawn shop and found out it was not gold and he had been scammed, police said. RETAIL THEFT » A female was taken into custody at 2:21 p.m. April 6 at Macy’s in the Willow Grove Park mall after being observed by security steal two pair of sunglasses, valued at $355, from the Sunglass Hut and hide them in her pants, police said.

ARREST » Amanda Zirolli, 30, of Coatesvill­e, Pa., was charged with receiving stolen property, theft and related charges April 5, online court records show. FRAUD » Kenneth Twyne, 38, of the 200 block of East Prince Street, Philadelph­ia, was arrested at 4:05 p.m. April 6 at Citizens Bank, 7425 N. Front Street, police said. He was charged with identity theft, access device fraud, bad checks, theft by deception, forgery and related charges, online court records show.

ASSAULT » A woman reported at 4:20 a.m. April 7 that her live-in boyfriend punched her in the head several times, police said. BANK ROBBERY » Richard Lawrence, 56, of the 2300 block of 79th Street, Philadelph­ia, was arrested at 9:58 a.m. April 9 in connection with a bank robbery reported at TD Bank, 2431 Cheltenham Ave., police said. He was arraigned on felony counts of robbery, receiving stolen property and theft by deception, and taken to Montgomery County Prison in lieu of $99,000 bail, online court records show.
