Police: Man abducted, then returned to care facility in Jenkintown
JENKINTOWN » On May 18, at approximately 3:32 p.m., Jenkintown police received a dispatch for a suspicious incident at 610 York Road in Jenkintown Borough.
According to a police press release, the complainant advised that his brother Charlie Bostic was abducted from that location by an unknown person and they described it as a possible kidnapping. Mr. Bostic was confined to a wheel chair and a resident of an extended care facility in the area because of multiple medical issues.
Officers interviewed witnesses and family members present at the time of this possible abduction. It became immediately apparent that two of the individuals present were being deceptive in their recollection and their specific involvement in the incident, the police release stated. It was determined that these two individuals and at least a third individual had conspired together to take Mr. Bostic away from his family and the extended care facility. The incident is actively being investigated by Jenkintown Borough Police and the Montgomery County Detective Bureau.
During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Mr. Bostic may be in the custody of another related individual. An alert was broadcasted for Mr. Bostic as a Missing and Endangered Person. At 3 a.m. May 19, Mr. Bostic was dropped off, by an unknown individual, at the original extended care facility where he was residing. Mr. Bostic is safe and has been evaluated for any possible injuries.
Jenkintown Police Department then arrested Keyaira Sade Bostic and Bino Ian Williams, as a result of their involvement in this incident. They have been arraigned at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility and are being held on $50,000 cash bail. The investigation is ongoing and there may be additional individuals charged in this incident, according to the police release.
