FRAUD » A male was arrested at 5:14 p.m. June 3 at TD bank, 710 Old York Road, after he attempted to cash a fraudulent check for $9,000 on an account closed for fraudulent activity, police said.

THEFT » A resident of the 1100 block of Colonial Avenue, Roslyn, reported at 5:24 a.m. June 6 hearing a noise and seeing a white sedan by his vehicle, after which he discovered the catalytic converter was taken, police said. CRIMINAL MISCHIEF » A vehicle parked at Esporta Fitness, 371 Highland Ave., was found at 7:12 p.m. June 6 with the rear passenger side window broken, police said. RETAIL THEFT » A male stole several mixers, valued at $1,400, from Bed, Bath & Beyond 905 Old York Road, June 6, police said. RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY » An officer on patrol at 9:43 p.m. June 7 stopped a vehicle at Edge Hill Road and Chester Avenue reported stolen at gunpoint in Philadelphia, police said. Five occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody and the vehicle was held for Philadelphia police, police said. RETAIL THEFT » A male and female stole numerous items from Bed, Bath & Beyond, 905 Old York Road, at 2:59 p.m. June 8 and ran, police said. The female was located and found in possession of $608 worth of goods and was taken into custody, police said.

FRAUD » A male attempting to cash a fraudulent check for $2,000 at Penn Community Bank, 1651 The Fairway, was taken into custody at 2:18 p.m. June 8, police said. The male said a female had offered him $200 to cash the check, police said.

THEFT » A bag of baseball equipment was reported stolen at 5:22 p.m. June 8 from a vehicle in the 200 block of Easton Road, police said. RETAIL THEFT » Taylor Harrison, 26, of Orthodox Street, Philadelphia, was arrested May 5 and charged with retail theft in connection with an April 6 incident in the 2500 block of Moreland Road, police said. ASSAULT » A 32-year-old woman of Chippendale Street, Philadelphia, was charged May 2 with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct following an incident in the 1400 block of Old York Road, police said. BURGLARY » Thomas Caso, 56, of New York, N.Y., was charged with burglary and criminal trespass in connection with a Feb. 24 burglary in the 1900 block of Deer Run, police said.

RETAIL THEFT » A 34-yearold woman of Ferndale Avenue, Abington, was charged May 25 with retail theft and receiving stolen property in the 800 block of Old York Road, police said.

BURGLARY » A burglary of a home in the 7300 block of Oak Lane Road was reported at 7:17 a.m. May 26, police said. A male with a green traffic vest was observed running south toward Cheltenham Avenue, police said.

INDECENT SEXUAL ASSAULT » The indecent sexual assault of a juvenile was reported at 10:28 a.m. May 26 in the 8200 block of Old York Road, police said. Investigation ongoing.

THEFT » Old Navy, 2401 Cheltenham Ave., reported at 12:38 p.m. May 26 that a known person took $74 worth of shirts, police said. THEFT » A Black female, age 20-30, with braids, wearing a black hat, black long-sleeve shirt, black tights and black shoes, stole a cart full and basket full of goods from Walgreens, 2727 Cheltenham Ave., at 4:20 p.m. May 26, police said.

The juveniles also struck the victim’s vehicle police said. RETAIL THEFT »A darkskinned Black male, about 7 feet tall, wearing a gray tshirt, black pants and light colored sneakers, attempted to steal $799 worth of allergy medicine in a bag at 11:35 a.m. June 6 at CVS, 45 Cheltenham Ave., but the bag fell and the merchandise was recovered, police said. FRAUD » A resident reported June 7 an unknown caller posing as a Best Buy Geek Squad team member was given access to a bank account and Bitcoin account and a total of $55,000 was accessed, police said. ROBBERY » A female reported at 2 p.m. June 7 that she was placed in a choke hold by a male who had given her and her girlfriend a ride in the 1100 block of Cheltenham Avenue and $250 and several access cards were taken from her purse, police said.

BURGLARY » A burglary at 10:48 p.m. June 11 of a home in the 100 block of Kingston Road was discovered during a home alarm check, police said.

CARJACKING » A male was observed being robbed at gunpoint by three males in a red sedan who stole the victim’s gray Porsche a 11:18 p.m. June 12 at Humphrey Merry Way and John Russell Circle, police said. The victim was not located, police said.
