Florence Carole Fus
Florence Carole Fus (Rowinski), 90, formerly of Ambler, PA, died on Saturday, July 2, 2022, in Falls Church, VA, surrounded by family.
Born in Conshohocken, PA, Florence was the ninth and last surviving of ten children. She was the loving wife of the late Frank Anthony
Fus; devoted mother of Lawrence (Melinda), Edward (Laureen), Andrea (Harry), and Elliot (Yvonne); doting grandmother of Rebecca, Alexandra, Morgan, Jeremy, Jonathan, Alexander,
Annik, and Robert; and proud great-grandmother of Gavin.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Alec, Jane, Joe, Mary, Anne, Helen, Stella, Peggy, and Bassie.
An alumna of Thomas Jefferson University College of Nursing, she enjoyed a successful career as a registered nurse, most notably at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia.
Florence and Frank were married in Conshohocken, and made a home together in Ambler, where they raised their family and lived for over 50 years. In 2016, Florence joined a retirement community in Falls Church, VA.
A mass and celebration of life for Florence will be held in Falls Church on August 11, 2022.
