THEFT: A trailer valued at more than $20,000was reported stolen at 10:47 a.m. Aug. 1 in the 600 block of Cheltenham Avenue, police said.

AUTO THEFT: A gray Hyundai Kona, PA tag LNB5583, owned by Enterprise Rental, was reported stolen at 3:13 p.m. Aug. 1 in the 7900 block of Old York Road, police said.

FRAUD: A resident reported Aug. 1 providing bank informatio­n to an unknown caller who transferre­d $1,656.46 to an account in Brooklyn, N.Y., police said.

VANDALISM: Three to four juveniles were observed fleeing the parking lot of Home Depot, 7690 Washington Lane, at 8:11 p.m. Aug. 1 after spray-painting vehicles in the lot, police said.

THEFT: A PA tag, LRZ0370, was reported stolen at 1:15p.m. Aug. 2from a vehicle in the 2000block of North John Russell Circle, police said.

THEFT: A blue Ford Fusion, PA tag LKG1401, was reported stolen at 5:03 p.m. Aug. 2from Chick Fil-A, 2421 Cheltenham Ave., where it had been left running with the keys in the ignition and a handgun inside, police said. WARRANT: Kevin Byrd, 35, of the 2900 block of Judson Street, Philadelph­ia, was arrested at 8a.m. Aug. 2 on a Cheltenham warrant charging him with simple assault, endangerin­g the welfare of children and harassment stemming from a March 18incident, according to police and online court records.

ROBBERY: Reginald Curry, 27, of the 2100block of Etting Street, Philadelph­ia, was arrested following a short foot pursuit after he allegedly told a clerk at Walgreens, 2727Chelte­nham Ave., at 6:39p.m. Aug. 3that he had a gun in his pocket and attempted to grab the cash out of the register, police said. He was charged with robbery and terroristi­c threats, online court records show. RETAIL THEFT: A thin Black male with dread locks and all black clothing stole $80worth of items from Walgreens, 2727 W. Cheltenham Ave., at 9:32 p.m. Aug. 3, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: A female stole $300 worth of merchandis­e at Old Navy, 2401 Cheltenham Ave., at 2:45 p.m. Aug. 5 and fled in a white van after threatenin­g a loss prevention officer who had approached her, police said.

THEFT: A purse containing identifica­tion, a house key and two cellphones was reported stolen from a parked vehicle at 3:20p.m. Aug. 5in the 7600block of Tookany Creek Parkway, police said. ROBBERY: A male stole $50to $100 worth of goods from Fresh Grocer, 1000Easton Road, at 7:14p.m. Aug. 5 after showing a knife to a loss prevention officer who confronted him, police said.

THEFT: A backpack containing school books, a computer, sim cards and charging cables, valued at $2,000, was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle at 2:49 p.m. Aug. 7 in the 1800 block of Erlen Road, police said. THEFT: A wallet containing two debit cards, a credit card and $250 cash was reported stolen at 5:48p.m. Aug. 7 from a vehicle at Tookany Creek Parkway and Wessel Way, police said. FRUAD: A resident reported Aug 7two checks mailed at the outside mailbox at Elkins Park Post Office were stolen and altered, police said.

LOITERING: A 32-year-old male of the 6600 block of 8th Street, Philadelph­ia, was arrested at 1:32a.m. Aug. 8after trying to open a car door in the driveway of a home in the 7300 block of Oak Lane Road, police said. He was charged with loitering and prowling at night, online court records show. BURGLARY: Officers responding to a call at 4:42 a.m. Aug. 8 at Frank’s Pizza, 7782Montgo­mery Ave., for a complaint of a suspicious vehicle at the location found the glass door at the business shattered, a window at the east side broken and the bilko doors to the basement open, police said. FRAUD: A resident reported Aug. 8 a check was stolen from the mailbox, altered and fraudulent­ly cashed, police said.

FRAUD: A resident reported Aug. 8 money had been fraudulent­ly removed from the victim’s savings account, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: A Black male wearing a gray bucket hat, blue and white shirt, carrying a black Nike bag, stole laundry soap at 1:35 p.m. Aug. 8 at Aldi, 8200 Ogontz Ave., police said.

WARRANT: Stephen Durham, 51, of the 300block of West 6th Street, Lansdale, was taken into custody on Montgomery and Philadelph­ia county warrants after allegedly taking items from Walgreens, 2727 Cheltenham Ave., at 4:42 p.m. Aug. 8, police said. THEFT: The catalytic converter was reported stolen at 1:17p.m. Aug. 9from a vehicle in the 100block of Hewett Road, police said.

GUNSHOTS: Officers were dispatched at 3:42a.m. Aug. 10for a report of gunshots fired at Curtis Park in the 1200 block of West Church Road, police said. Twenty-six shell casings were found at the scene, where 13 shell casings had been found during a previous incident, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Nathaniel Curtis, 49, of the 900 block of Fisher Avenue, Philadelph­ia, was charged with retail theft at 12:05p.m. Aug. 10after taking items from Target, 2450 Shoppers Lane, police said.

VANDALISM: A vehicle parked in the 900 block of Valley Road was found at 7:37 a.m. Aug. 11 with a broken door lock and the ignition and steering column damaged, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: A male was observed placing items in his backpack without paying for them at 3:31 p.m. Aug. 11 a Walgreens, 2727 W. Cheltenham Ave., police said.

THEFT: A vehicle parked in the 8000 block of High School Road was found broken into at 8:32 p.m. Aug. 11 and an iPhone with credit and bank cards and air pods were stolen, police said. THEFT: Patio furniture valued at $200 was reported stolen at 11:04p.m. Aug. 11 from the front of a residence in the 2000block of John Russell Circle, police said.

BURGLARY: A residence in the 7400 block of Overhill Road was burglarize­d between Aug. 8 and 12 and $5,000 was taken, police said.

THEFT: Allergy medication valued at $1,887was reported stolen at 1:54p.m. Aug. 12 from Rite Aid, 1401 Cheltenham Ave., by a male, age 35, 5 feet 9 inches, 160pounds, last seen southbound on Broad Street, police said.

FRAUD: A resident reported Aug 12 a contractor hired to do work was paid $8,000 to complete the work in January, but has not done so and is not responding to calls and texts, police said.
