RETAIL THEFT >> A 59-yearold man of Woodlawn Street, Philadelph­ia, was charged Aug. 15 with a felony count of retail theft in the 1500 block of Moreland Road, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A 24-yearold man of Livingston Street, Philadelph­ia, was charged Aug. 14 with receiving stolen property and a felony count of retail theft in the 1400 block of Old York Road, police said. FRAUD >> A resident reported on Aug. 19 that his Bitcoin account was hacked and he suffered a $100 loss, police said.

FRAUD >> Charges are pending against the occupants of a vehicle stopped at 3:04 p.m. Aug. 20 in the 400 block of Edge Hill Road who possessed counterfei­t vehicle registrati­on documents, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> Ross Dress for Less, 911 Old York Road, reported a retail theft at 9:06 p.m. Aug. 20 by a person believed to be the same suspect in an Aug. 16 theft at the store, police said. THEFT >> A customer at Giant, 737 Huntingdon Pike, reported at 4:09 p.m. Aug. 21 her wallet was stolen while shopping in the store, and shortly after more than $1,700 worth of fraudulent charges were attempted on the victim’s credit cards, police said.

THEFT >> A meat order placed by Yummi Yummi in the 2100 block of Rubicam Avenue was reported stolen at 7:46 p.m. Aug. 21, police said. The delivery driver reported being met by a person in the roadway claiming to have placed the order who then fled with it, police said.

SHOTS >> Officers responded at 1:36 a.m. Aug. 22 to the 300 block of Meetinghou­se Road for a report of gunshots fired and three males fleeing, police said. A shell casing and a bullet hole at the front of the residence were found, police said. THEFT >> A resident reported on Aug. 22 that she had been unable to get her phone back after leaving it in an Uber, police said. RETAIL THEFT >> A male with a child stole items from Giant, 737 Huntingdon Pike, at 6:32 p.m. Aug. 22, police said.

FRAUD >> A resident reported on Aug. 23 that a bill mailed at a drop box in the area of Oklahoma and Fitzwatert­own roads had been altered, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> A suspect in the theft of items at 1:53 p.m. Aug. 23 from Nordstrom Rack in the 2500 block of Moreland Road was apprehende­d after fleeing on foot and will be charged with retail theft and related offenses, police said. FRAUD >> A person reported on Aug. 23 that a check mailed at the drop box at the Abington post office, 1166 Old York Road, was altered and cashed, police said.

RETAIL THEFT >> Rite-Aid, 1321 Easton Road, reported at 6:49 p.m. Aug. 23 a person filled a reusable shopping bag with goods and left without paying, police said.

THEFT >> A customer at TJ Max, 1495 Old York Road, reported at 4:15 p.m. Aug. 24 two males distracted the victim while shopping and three credit cards were stolen from her purse and used to make $500 worth of fraudulent purchases, police said.

THEFT >> A resident of the 1000 block of Edge Hill Road reported Aug. 24 that more than $1,000 worth of items were stolen from the victim’s residence, police said.

ID THEFT >> A resident reported on Aug. 24 that an unknown person opened a credit card in the victim’s name in Delaware, police said.

BIKE STOLEN >> A bicycle was stolen from the driveway of a home in the 500 block of Fox Chase Road overnight Aug. 23, police said. THEFT >> Boston Market, 1776 Old York Road, reported on Aug. 24 that an employee stole $5,000 between July 11 and Aug. 12, police said.

AUTO STOLEN >> A vehicle was reported stolen from the driveway of a home in the 500 block of Gibson Avenue overnight on Aug. 23, police said.

THREATS >> A 29-year-old Cheltenham man was charged Aug. 28 with carrying a firearm without a license, terroristi­c threats, recklessly endangerin­g another person, harassment and possession of an instrument of crime, online court records show.

ROBBERY >> Aaron Johnson-Chavis, 26, of the 8500 block of Fayette Street, Philadelph­ia, was charged Aug. 20 with robbery and harassment, online court records show.
